Maybank Corporate Hari Raya Open House
Maybank Foundation brings joy to the kids of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Nur Hati and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rumah Jalinan Kasih at the Maybank Corporate Hari Raya Open House at KLCC Convention Centre
On the 7th of July 2017, the Maybank Corporate Hari Raya Open House event was held at KLCC Convention Centre. In the spirit of Hari Raya, Maybank Foundation invited children from the Pertubuhan Kebajikan Nur Hati and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rumah Jalinan Kasih for a festive Hari Raya celebration. The open house was also attended by Maybank’s customers and business partners to commemorate the Eid-Ul Fitr celebration.

The Chairman of Maybank, Datuk Mohaiyani Shamsudin delightfully welcome the arrival of the children from the Pertubuhan Kebajikan Nur Hati and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rumah Jalinan Kasih
They were treated with a wide array of delicious food and drinks, ranging from traditional Hari Raya cuisine such as ‘ketupat’ and ‘lemang’ as well as plenty of other popular local dishes such as ‘laksa’ and ‘murtabak’. After the meal, the chairman of Maybank, Datuk Mohaiyani Shamsudin, distributed ice-cream to the children as a treat for dessert.
The open house event was also packed with booths that offer plenty of local delicacies. The participants from the Reach Independence & Sustainable Entrepreneurship (R.I.S.E.) program also participated in the event to showcase and promote their cuisines such as ice-cream and fried ‘kerepek’.
During the celebration, the children of the two homes were given ‘duit raya’ from Maybank Foundation. The children were delighted to be a part of the open house event and their enjoyment has made the event much livelier.
Happy faces and laughter filled throughout the joyous event as people from different backgrounds came together as one to embrace unity on this festive season.
