MyTIGER Values Art Competition and Exhibition 2019
Leading up to the Global Tiger Day 2019 celebration, Maybank Foundation organised the ‘MyTIGER Values Art Competition and Exhibition’ at Balai Seni, Menara Maybank from 8 – 31 July 2019. The Art Competition, which focuses on our T.I.G.E.R Core Values, was participated by 264 art students from 29 Malaysian universities. The categories of the Art Competition are digital illustration, photography and digital sequence.
Out of the 363 artworks submitted, the Art Exhibition featured 72 selected artworks from 70 finalists in 24 universities who were well-versed in various subject matters that highlighted the qualities of the many creative individuals with uplifting and vibrant perspectives on personal developmental landscape.
The Closing and Award Ceremony of MyTIGER Values Art Competition and Exhibition was also held on 29 July 2019. Attended by Dato’ V. Danapalan and Ibu Budhi Dyah Sitawati, members of the Board of Trustees of Maybank Foundation; Puan Nora A. Manaf, Group Chief Human Capital Officer of Maybank and En. Shahril Azuar Jimin, CEO of Maybank Foundation. Also present at the event were the participating art students and their families, as well as the representatives of the universities.
The Award Ceremony saw 9 art students took home the rewards of RM6,000, RM4,000 and RM2,000 for the winner, 2nd place and 3rd place respectively in the 3 categories contested.
