MyTiger Values 2022
Our institution is ever keen on listening and keeping ourselves informed on the dreams and hopes of the grassroots. The current series of MyTiger Values Art Competition is an annual embodiment of this commitment. Year after year, we keep our ears close to the ground to listen to the aspirations of today, and on the hopes for tomorrow.
Current edition of the competition models itself on the recently announced aspirations by the United Nations – exemplified by their list of 17 sustainable development goals. The Goals are in line with the spirit of the Global Village, as we are eager to understand the views of the masses in response to their perception of today’s challenges. It is therefore hoped that this competition and subsequent exhibition will bring forth much needed exposure and a horizontal view on the contemporary voices.
Since its call for entries last March, the competition had received a total of 459 submissions by 384 students, from 43 universities. The exhibition will feature multiple representations from a plethora of higher learning institutions across the country, in a myriad of categories and forms for expression. All the participants exemplified a collection of exceptional skills and ideas, with response to the theme provided. This is but another step for our continual commitment towards actively nurturing the potential of the populace, and with it another step forward towards the building of the nation.
